In September 2026, Fox was named the recipient of the 2026 Lasker~Bloomberg Public Service Award, honoring his work in reducing stigma and accelerating Parkinson’s research. The Lasker Foundation credited him and his foundation with transforming the research landscape and empowering patients to play a greater role in the search for better therapies and a cure.

For Fox, however, the award is not an ending. His foundation continues raising billions for future research, while he remains focused on the same goal that motivated him from the beginning.
